Timon!
It was the afternoon at Taronga's Zoo and the meerkat was one of the animals I still wanted to see.
A group of 3 of them were about 20m away from me, chilling on a rock like they were guessing if they were going to eat ants or worms for dinner and my whistles just wouldn't make them come or look at me.
So I vainly tried to approach them with the maximum my short 18-55mm lenses could go without success.
The zoo was about to close when the meerkats suddenly decided to run randomly like they freaked out (maybe they just wanted to burn some calories before the next meal). Then one of them stopped to rest leaning on the edge just bellow from where I was, so I extended my arm above the wall trying to get as close as I could to him. When my body was fully stretched - that was bizarre -, my backpack didn't resist to the gravity and fell from my back, obligating me to catch it in the air before it hit the poor merkat. He just heard the noise of the backpack crashing the wall.
That made him look at me with this face like "Dude, wtf you doing?"
